About me.

I’m Rebekah Fisher, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly a decade of clinical experience. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (trauma emphasis) in 2017 and have practiced across the U.S. and internationally.

My work has included an adult psychiatric unit in Virginia, grief support with children and teens (Camp Braveheart), trauma therapy with refugee populations in Greece, and private practice serving individuals and couples in Pennsylvania. I’ve also spent more than five years living and working in Morocco, collaborating with universities and international communities. These experiences shaped my conviction that context, culture, and identity profoundly influence healing.

Today I’m U.S.-licensed and expert on international living, serving Pennsylvania residents via secure telehealth and working with globally mobile adults, couples, and families. I help clients navigate cross-cultural transitions, relationship repair after betrayal, anxiety/OCD-type patterns, and grief. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-aware, and evidence-based (integrating CBT/ACT, mindfulness, and emotion-focused work for couples). Sessions are warm, structured, and collaborative: we clarify what matters to you, build skills for steadiness, and translate insight into action.

If you’re juggling multiple homes, identities, or time zones—and want a counselor who “gets” international life—I’d be honored to walk with you.

Specialities: cross-cultural marriages, expat/third-culture, depression, anxiety, anger, nervous-system regulation, and boundary work after infidelity.
